The USBee ZX
AX and DX I2C Controller Module
The USBee ZX, AX and DX I2C Controller module is a full featured I2C control system that allows you to create and generate I2C bus transactions to any I2C device. The USBee acts as the I2C bus master and, running from scripts that you build, will generate all of the necessary clocking and data and will read the received data and ACK status into a log file. This log file can then be processed using other programs such as Excel.
I2C Controller Feature Set
- Uses the USBee ZX, AX or DX Test Pod
- Generate script files to generate single or multiple I2C transactions
- Allows custom Start, Stop and ACK positioning within a transaction
- Saves I2C transaction data to output file, including written data, read data from device, start and stop tokens and ack levels during ack bit times.
- Allows you to process output data using other programs (such as Excel) after capture.
- Uses the underlying Toolbuilder routines to bit-bang the I2C protocol (on average 2.5kbps)
